Frequently Asked Questions ...

What is DPC?

Direct Primary Care, DPC, is an affordable, membership-based, primary care program that allows the patient to connect to a healthcare provider for nearly all aspects of care without involving any 3rd party payers or insurance providers.

How Long is a DPC membership good for?

As long as you want! Midwest Integrative Health, LLC is excited to partner with you on your healthcare and wellness journey!

As a member of the DPC program, how many visits do I get?

You will receive an annual wellness exam which includes basic labs, management of any chronic conditions and up to 10 sick visits per year.

Do I need to purchase a membership to use your services?

No! MIH offers a wide range of services to meet the every day needs of our patients! We would love to help you!

What if I want to cancel my membership?

Although we hate to see you go, memberships can be cancelled with a 30-day written notice. Please send your notice of cancellation to support.familynp@gmail.com

Can I get a refund?

There are no refunds for services provided or received. Refunds of yearly memberships can be discussed on a case-by-case basis and with an appropriate 30-day cancellation notice.

Can I cancel my appointment?

Cancellation of appointments may be subject to a charge. We accept cancellations prior to 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time. If the appointment is cancelled within the 24 hour window, or if the visit is marked as a "No Show", then you will be charged $50 for your general visit. If this is an IV Infusion or Injection appointment, the fee will be $100 as we block the schedule for longer periods of time in order to focus on you and your well-being. IV Infusion and Injection appointments require preparation of medications and infusions specifically for your appointment which may not be reused. Patients who have 3 "No Show" appointments will be dismissed from the practice, and no refunds will be provided.

Do you accept insurance?

No, we do not accept traditional health insurance, but we can accept certain HSA's and FSA's. Please double check that our practice is covered under your plan and we would be happy to provide you with an appropriate invoice for your record keeping. It is our recommendation that you continue to carry a basic, high-deductible or HSA eligible insurance plan for emergency purposes and use a MIH DPC membership program for your every day healthcare needs.

Do you accept Medicaid or Medicare?

No. It is important to note that due to Federal Medicare laws, we cannot treat Medicare patients for any Medicare covered services. Most wellness visits, hormone replacement therapy and IV Infusions are not covered by Medicare but please double check before booking your appointment.

Do you accept payment plans?

We are currently working on a partnership with PatientFi to offer payment plans to all clients should you choose to pay by this route.

Do you treat children?

YES! At Midwest Integrative Health, LLC we treat ALL ages of the lifespan and would be honored to care for your little one.

Do you accept same day appointments?

The short answer to that is, we will ALWAYS try! Please check the daily availability and if you are unable to schedule at a time that works for you, please email/call/chat to speak with us about your needs.

Do you accept Walk-ins?

We do accept walk-ins, but cannot guarantee a timely visit. It is best to use the online scheduler to book a same-day appointment. As always, please call/chat/text for any urgent appointment needs.

I need blood work done, can you help?

Yes! We would love to help. MIH has partnered with Access Medical Labs and LabCorp to offer you the most affordable rates for lab work.

Are IV infusions safe?

Yes! IV therapy is considered a low risk procedure for most healthy adults. Prior to any service, you will be evaluated by a medical professional to determine any potential contraindications of the treatment.

Do IV infusions or injections work?

IV infusion therapy and vitamin injections are not FDA approved to treat any specific diseases or conditions, but they have proven to benefit overall wellness through the various drip cocktails.

How often can I receive an IV infusion?

We recommend spacing infusions out bi-weekly. If you are ill and are in need of more frequent infusions or hydration, please reach out.

Can I be seen for an emergency visit?

NO, we do not provide emergency medical services. If you have a life threatening emergency, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

Where can I find you?

We have a physical space located at 222 South Randolph in Macomb, Illinois. If you aren't near us though we can see you through telemedicine.

Are there services you

don't cover?
